A teen who is Alleged to be in her early twenties has taken her own life.
Tumu township was thrown into shock and grief following the gruesome murder of a Sissala army captain by name captain Maxwell Adam Mahama who was with a detachment in a town located in central region Dwnkyere Obuasi a mining community that is a hub of illegal mining. He was attacked and gruesomely murdered when they allegedly mistook him for an arm robber following a spare of robbery activities lately.
Whiles the dust was settling the murder of the army man, news of a teen lady who attempted taking her own life by hanging herself with a rope to a mango three right in their compound house.
A co-tenant who whiles in her room heard an unusual noise of someone struggling. She came out and was greeted by the teen lady by name Latifa hanging to the mango three. So she wailed and drew attention of nearby who came to cut the rope and brought the victim down. The victim was quickly rushed to the hospital. She was attended to at the hospital and with love ones hoping she did gain conscious hence life.
Only for this evening around 6:30pm while Moslems were breaking their fast the news of the demise of the teen lady swept through Tumu township leaving the people in more shock and grief.
Colleague teens could not control but wail uncontrollably. Sister Latifa until her demise was a hair dresser by profession who just passed out and licensed to work. Because she had no shop to operate a senior beautician gave her shop to her to take care while she goes to have delivery for she was in labour. So just yesterday, Latifah was seen by many and others had a hearty chat with and with no signs of her venturing into such ungodly act.
