The only social centre that host most of social events in the District Capital of the Sissala East Tumu, has been gutted by fire this evening. This tragic incident happened at a time football lovers were busily glued to a giant TV set at the other compartment of the facility. The fire was said to have started around 9:30pm from the other end of the facility. It took the swift intervention of the personnel of the Ghana Fire Service to stop the fire from engulfing the whole facility. The actual cause of the fire was not known at the time of filing this report. No causalities in the tragic incident.
