Rainstorm Ravages Banu Community

Residents of Banu community in the Sissala East District of the Upper West Region were this early morning greeted with gory scenes of yesterday's rainstorm, the community had a downpour yesterday through out the night, which resulted in many houses having their roofs ripped off,others razed down and some electrical poles fallen down . It all started yesterday around 10:30 when it threatened to rain accompanied with  leaving residents in the state of worry and panic . Though the were no causalities in after catastrophe many buildings were not spared, as the either got their roofs ripped off or the entire building been razed down. Victims have been left homeless and had to seek for shelter with neighbors. Victims are therefore calling on government and philanthropists to come to their aid. They are also call on workers of the Volta River Authority to come and help clear the naked wires as it poses a great danger to the people.
