FAMILY HISTORY OF CAPT. MAXWELL ADAM MAHAMA’s GRANDFATHER BY A FAMILY MEMEBER

Capt. Maxwell Adam Mahama according to search and from a reliable hails from Yigantu/Jaana a twin farming community in the Sissala East District of Upper West Region-Ghana. The narrator and an extended family member in the person of Mr Kojo Bening a circuit supervisor with the District Education service in Tumu emphatically said the grandfather of the deceased captain Maxwell Mahama who is in the person of Duan-Nkwan migrated on foot from his community to Bole in the northern region of Ghana. He settled in Bole and got married to a women of Gonja tribe. The couple gave birth to the father (retired captain Mahama).
The lovely family got stricken by the ugly face of divorce and hence separation. Which left late captain Maxwell with his mum for some time. Captain Maxwell spent some years with the mum until an uncle picked him up and funded his education and until he joined the Ghana Armed Forces.
The grandfather of deceased captain Maxwell Mahama Adam (Duan-Nkwan) later in life retreated back to home and settled in Nabugubelle a community just few miles from his home community and even got married, gave birth to two children of which one of the child lives with of captain Mahama. The grandfather later passed on whiles in Nabugubelle and the father of deceased captain Maxwell  prepared his funeral at their hometown.
The father of late captain Maxwell Adam Manana became the head of security at the Volta River Authority till now. Late captain Maxwell Adam Mahama was proud of where he hails from and would even be in eternity. He late had to traced the father retired captain Mahama to Accra and together they came down to their hometown Yigantu /Jaana.  but sadly had to bury his son who had every opportunity to have gone pass his father’s rank in the army but for unjustified  ‘mob action’ and indiscipline, barbaric and inhumane act such a bright smart army officer’s life has been cut short leaving a nation in shock and grief.
